Laser Cutting
At Micrometric we have built up a reputation for taking a personal approach to fully understanding every customer’s laser cutting requirements in order to optimise the production process and achieve optimal results.
We use several CO2 and state-of-the-art fibre laser cutting systems which precisely cut materials with minimal heat and excellent edge quality to produce components quickly, efficiently and cost-effectively.
Using our precision fibre and YAG laser cutting systems we can precisely cut a range of flat and tubular materials including steel, aluminium, copper, brass and titanium.
Thanks to continuous investments in the latest technology, we’re able to laser cut a variety of materials, including those with an extremely thin diameter as well as organic materials. To find out more about the range of organic materials we’re able to cut, please get in touch.
We can precision laser cut and profile cut a range of materials including steel, copper and brass. On a bed size with dimensions of 3 x 1.5m, we can cut parts varying in size from 5 x 10 mm (smallest size) to 3 x 1.5 m (largest size).
Some parts of greater thickness can also be cut – please enquire for further information.
Some individual dimensions can sometimes be tighter tolerance and some features can be subsequently processed by machining or wire EDM to very tight tolerances, down to 5um.

Please note: we do not process poisonous or radioactive materials such as Be, Pb, U.
Metal dust or organic vapour from the above processes is, of course, toxic and is processed by specialist fume extraction processes.
